FAQs

What is included with your services?

When booking with me, you’re securing your wedding date for my services! My services include extensive skin preparation, individualized makeup application, false eyelashes (individual or strip), and a touch-up kit (which includes a beauty blender, powder puff with extra powder, an eyebrow spoolie with extra gel, a makeup remover wipe, and a lip touch-up).

Do you offer a trial before signing the contract?

I do not! In order to schedule a bridal trial, you are required to sign the contract and pay the 20% retainer fee to secure my services for your day. To ensure that I can provide the best possible service to my clients and dedicate my time and resources effectively, I offer bridal trials exclusively for those who have booked me for their wedding date. This policy helps me to productively manage my schedule and ensures a high level of commitment and personalized attention to each bride.

What to know for my trial?

I currently hold trials out of my home in Madison, WI. Since you will be traveling to me, there will be no travel fee. Once booked with me, you have the option to schedule a 120-minute trial session. This duration allows ample time for feedback and adjustments, ensuring that we create the perfect look for your special day. Just be sure to come with inspiration photos (from pinterest, my instagram/website, etc) and clean skin. I would also recommend wearing white and bringing any jewelry that you are planning to wear on the big day to help everything come together! Feel free to bring a guest with to accompany you!

How far do you travel?

I am willing to travel as far as needed :)

I charge 67 cents per mile for roundtrip travel. If the getting-ready location is more than 2 hours away from Madison, WI, I will require accommodations for a hotel the night before. Additionally, if the start time is 6:00 am or earlier and the location is more than 30 minutes away from Madison, WI, I will also require a hotel.

Is there a minimum/maximum to the number of services? When do we need an additional artist?

I require a minimum of 4 makeup applications (including the bride) to secure my services for your wedding day. My personal limit for makeup applications is 7. Once we hit 8 services, I recommend the option to add an additional artist (for the minimum of 4 per makeup artist). All of the additional artists I work with have undergone extensive training with me, to ensure that our style and expertise align. With my additional artists, we have no maximum number of services, we are happy to provide as many makeup applications as time allows!

What products do you use? Do I need to bring my own products?

I have hand-curated my kit to have products that work for every skin type, tone, and texture! I use a wide variety of products, ranging from high-end; like Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Makeup by Mario, Georgio Armani, etc., to drug store; like ELF, Morphe, NYX, and more. I will bring everything that we will need for your makeup application! The only time that I would recommend you to bring your own products is if you have any skin allergies, which we will discuss ahead of time.

Timing

I require 75 minutes for bridal makeup applications and 45 minutes for bridesmaids/mothers of the bride/mother of the groom/etc, and 30 minutes for those under the age of 13! I also always include a 15 minute touchup period at the end.

Do you only book weddings?

No, I am available for all other special events! Please note that I am only available for events that are not weddings Mondays-Thursdays, as Fridays-Sundays are reserved for weddings.

Cancellation Policy?

I completely understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If an event is canceled, please note that fees paid, including the 20% retainer fee, are non-refundable. However, if the event is postponed, I will gladly apply the contracted services to a new date, subject to availability.

How do the payments work?

All payments go through Honeybook, the booking platform that I use. When you sign a contract with me, a 20% retainer fee will be due upon booking. The remaining 80% will be due 2 weeks before your wedding date - so there are no worries the day of!

Can I adjust the contract once it is signed?

Since I typically book 12-15 months out for weddings, I understand that final details such as timeline and final headcount may not be solidified until closer to the wedding date. Because of this, I allow adjustments to be made to the timeline up until one month before the wedding date. Adding an additional artist to the contract (if the number of services is 8 or larger), must be determined upon booking. Once the contract is signed, services can be added up until one month before the wedding, but can NOT be removed.
